Hi All, Where can I download an old version of yahoo Messenger, I've heard the new ones aren't very accessible and you have to use the mouse pointer doohickey. Thanks for any help you have.

Hey. Did you get the version? If so, how well does it work? Don't think I need it anyway, but I am nosy as always. LOL

The set files are very old. I think they are a few years old at least. So I don't know if they will work at all.

Hi Caitlin,
I have an old version of yahoo messenger, forgot what version it is, but you still have to read text with the jaws cursor. It wasn't too bad, but I haven't logged onto that in a while either, so almost forgot how, lol.

Ps, I logged in to aol messenger for a while and it still logged me in even though I haven't been on there in probably a year or so.

Hi WW, Yeah I had a version where you used the cursor too, it was such a hassle! Lol. Caitlin

Well, I got use to it. it would've been nice to at least be able to read text with the pc cursor, but I don't suppose the scripts would read text automaticlly. If I had a choice, I'd rather have to use the jaws cursor than have jaws automatically reading old text over and over again, yuk, that was so annoying, andit slowed my responses because I'd have to wait till it read all the old text before it read any of the new text. When I logged into aim tonight, it did say you must have aol 5.2. something in order to read the text properly. And what's the best way to switch windows when someone messages you? I've been text chatting on aim before, and it would play a sound like someone imming me, but just pressing alt tab wouldn't take me to the new message window.
